You can delete your account at any time — directly from the mobile app or by submitting a request below. We process verified requests within 14 days.

The quickest way to delete your personal account is directly from the NepalHRM mobile app.
- 1Open the NepalHRM mobile app and sign in.
- 2Tap your profile avatar in the bottom navigation.
- 3Go to Settings → Account.
- 4Tap Delete my account.
- 5Confirm with your password or biometric unlock.

What gets permanently deleted
Your personal profile, login credentials, device and push tokens, mobile app preferences, app-usage analytics tied to your user ID, and any personal content you created in-app (saved filters, notes).
What may be retained (and why)
Records your employer owns — attendance punches, leave history, payslips, payroll and tax filings, disciplinary or performance records — are retained for as long as your employer requires, per Nepali labor and tax law. Those records belong to the company, not the individual employee.
Retention timelines
Personal account data: deleted within 14 days of a verified request. Encrypted backups: purged within 90 days. Legally required records (tax filings, contracts): retained for up to 7 years as required by Nepali law.
Important for employees of NepalHRM customers. If your NepalHRM account was created by your employer, the employer is the data controller of your employment records. Deleting your personal account removes your personal profile and login; it does not delete your employer's HR records of you (attendance, payslips, contracts) which they retain for legal and statutory reasons. To request deletion of those records, contact your employer's HR team directly.
