About NepalHRM

Built in Nepal, for Nepal

We build the HRMS we wished existed when we were running HR and finance ourselves: compliant with Nepali law, respectful of Nepali workflows, priced in NPR, supported from Kathmandu.

Why We Started

The HR Tools on the Market Were Never Built for Nepali Businesses

We started NepalHRM because every option in front of a Nepali HR or finance team came with a compromise attached.

  • Foreign HRMS don't know Nepali payroll

PF, CIT, SSF and eTDS are either missing or bolted on as a custom field, so finance still recalculates by hand.

  • Pricing arrives in USD

Per-user dollar pricing puts a serious HR system out of reach for most Nepali companies before the demo even starts.

  • No local support when things break

A ticket queue in another timezone is not much help on the day salaries have to go out.

  • So the work falls back to spreadsheets

HR, finance and operations run the heartbeat of the business on Excel, WhatsApp and manual calculation. That is not sustainable, and it is not fair to the people doing the work.

Our Mission

Give Every Nepali Business the HR Tools Global Companies Take for Granted

NepalHRM is the HRMS we would want as an HR manager in Birgunj, a CFO in Biratnagar, or a founder in Pokhara. Compliance-first, NPR-priced, Kathmandu-supported, mobile-ready.

What that means in practice

  • Compliance first: PF, CIT, SSF, eTDS and IRD tax slabs built into the product
  • Priced in NPR, for the budgets Nepali businesses actually work with
  • Supported from Kathmandu, in Nepali, by the people who build it
  • Mobile-ready, so approvals don't wait for someone to reach a desk
  • Built to scale from 20 employees to 5,000 without breaking
  • Made by people who ran HR and finance themselves and wanted this to exist

NepalHRM is a product of Yoddhalab Pvt. Ltd. (PAN 619760380), a private limited company incorporated in Nepal, with its registered office at Ward No. 7, Chabahil, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Kathmandu, Nepal.

What We Believe

Principles That Shape Everything We Build

Six rules we hold ourselves to, from how we price the product to how fast we answer the phone.

Compliance first

We update the system when IRD rules change, not three quarters later.

Respect the user

Every screen should be clear, honest, and should not waste anyone's time.

Local, always

Nepali support, Nepali pricing, Nepali context. Never a foreign afterthought.

HR is strategic

We treat HR and finance teams as leaders, not back-office admins.

Ship, then listen

Fast iteration beats perfect planning. Our roadmap is shaped by customers.

Stay close to the work

We visit our customers. We sit with their HR teams. We learn on-site.

Life at NepalHRM

The Team Behind Your HRMS, Building from Kathmandu

Real people, one office in Kathmandu. We ship, we sit with customers, and we sweat the Nepali payroll details (PF, CIT, SSF, eTDS) so your HR team doesn't have to.

01Local team

Built in Kathmandu, supported in Nepal

NepalHRM is designed, built, and supported by an in-house team in Kathmandu, not a foreign HR product with a local reseller. When Nepali labour law or IRD rules change, the people who understand PF, CIT, SSF, and eTDS are the same people shipping the update, and the same people who answer when you call.

02Product & engineering

Engineers who sweat the payroll details

Every attendance, leave, and payroll workflow is built around how Nepali businesses actually run: SSF contributions, provident fund, festival advances, and eTDS filing included. Our engineers treat Nepali compliance as a first-class feature, not an afterthought, so your HR and finance teams stop reverse-engineering the rules in spreadsheets.

03Close to customers

We sit with the HR teams we serve

We run product standups every week and visit customers in person, from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Biratnagar to Birgunj. The roadmap is shaped by real HR managers, CFOs, and founders, which is why NepalHRM keeps feeling like it was built for the way your team already works.

04Rooted in Nepal

Nepali festivals and traditions, built into the product

From the office puja that opens a new year to Dashain and Tihar bonuses, Nepali culture isn't a footnote for us. It's the context we build in. That's why NepalHRM handles festival advances, the Bikram Sambat calendar, and Nepal's public-holiday rules out of the box, the way HR and payroll teams here actually need.

We hike together too, a team day out above the Kathmandu Valley

Building the HRMS is the work; the people are the point. Every so often we swap the standups for a trail: a hike up to a hilltop viewpoint, prayer flags in the wind, and the whole valley laid out below.
